  • “Simply the best in Gorey.” 5 of 5 stars Had three fantastic evening meals here whilst on a short 4 day break in Gorey. This place makes you feel comfortable from the minute you walk in. Staff are friendly and are not over the top for a high quaility restaurant. They have a good selection of dishes and wine to choose from. When visiting Gorey or even the Island make sure you visit this place, you won't be disappointed.
  • Reviewed 1 week ago A mighty fine beef-burger! We visited as a family and were seriously impressed by the quality of the food and the warmth of the welcome. Service with a smile in a beautiful setting. Every plate of food leaving the kitchen looked fabulous and those that arrived at our table were first class. ENORMOUS homemade beef burgers with a fabulous flavour, all beautifully seasoned and fresh tasting. Empty plates, full tummies, big smiles. Will visit again
  • Amazing meal, beautiful place, high quality service!!! My partner and I spent amazing time at this beautiful restaurant. Everything was just perfect: the place is gorgeous, with stunning view, the food was cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious and well presented and the service was excellent. The staff was brilliant, courteous, very polite and helpful. They went the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. Thanks to them, we had a real experience at 'The Paper Fig', it was not just a meal. We will definitely go again and we highly recommend this place!

  • Relaxed Food is fantastic, so flavoursom. Such a relaxed atmosphere, they don't rush you. Our favourite restaurant in Gorey, it's also easy for us to go by bus.
  • "Worth a return visit!" We had two meals during our stay. The sea bass and chicken in wine sauce followed by chocolate terrine and sticky toffee pudding and on the second occasion mushrooms and pork starters, followed by crab and lobster bisque risotto and steak. We had the same puddings because they were so delicious. The food was very tasty and very nicely presented with nice wine. The best part was that this French themed restaurant happily accommodated my husband's garlic allergy and produced lovely dishes he could enjoy without being ill. We sat outside the first time and in the window the second so we could enjoy the views of lovely Gorey harbour. It was a super experience.
  • Awesome We had a party of 10 tonight. Every one of us we've been thrilled about food . The service was lovely also . Highly recommend ❤️
  • Highly recommended Congratulations to the chef for the brand new menu , start with amouse bouche , continued with starter and an amazing main course to finishing with. Nothing else to say. One of my favourite restaurants in Jersey , well done .
  • Back again, different food, same excellent quality The title basically says it all. This time, instead of the delicious seabass I had last time, we went for the lamp rump in red wine sauce. Nothing to fault with the dish: the lamb was nicely pink and the red wine sauce was rich without being overly so. if I was to nitpick, the meat knife could have been a bit sharper and the Michael Bublé background music could go but I'm hardly going to let that detract from why we went there in the first place: excellent food and prompt, courteous service. Well done and highly recommended.
